Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have moved out of ‘Mom’s house’. The pair and their two children, North and Saint, have said goodbye to Kris Jenner after months of living under her roof and moved into their Bel Air mansion.
But there's a catch - this won’t actually be their home for long. TMZ reports that Kim and Kanye will eventually take up permanent residence in a sprawling Hidden Hills mansion they paid an eye-watering $20 million for. Apparently, the estate was once owned by Lisa Marie Presley and boasts two vineyards, 2 pools and an ‘entertainment pavilion’ (we really want to know what goes down there).
The reason they have this stop-gap Bel Air mansion (oh how the other half live) is because in the years it has taken to renovate the property the couple have decided to purchase another, larger dreamy Hidden Hills home. It turns out, even if you’re a mega-watt celebrity building work always takes FOREVER to complete. And sometimes you just end up buying a bigger, better estate while you wait…
Kanye doesn’t seem too bothered that he'll have to move twice though, he shared these snaps of their Bel Air home on Twitter.
The Bel Air pad might not be their 'forever' home, but it's still pretty darn impressive. It's evident that when it comes to interior decorating the couple subscribe to the school of rigorously edited minimalism: all stone tones, floor-to-ceiling windows, clean lines and original artwork.
The pad was also the venue for Chrissy Teigen's recent baby shower, as well as a Kardashian-Jenner Easter day celebration - both hosted by Kim. Kylie Jenner gave a glimspe of the house's outdoor space via her Snapchat account.
