EXCLUSIVE: Keira Knightley shares her excitement about the royal baby

Keira Knightley may admit she's not a royalist but she did reveal to Marie Claire that she joins pretty much most of the nation in getting excited about Kate Middleton’s baby bump making an arrival this summer.

In the May issue of Marie Claire, Keira Knightley tell us: ‘I’m over the moon about the royal baby, but I’m not in favour of a monarchy. Is that treason?’

Such talk prompted the actress to open up about her own home life, particularly her relationship with Klaxons keyboard player, James Righton. In a touchingly honest moment, Keira says: I’m not someone who listens to a lot of music. But I get a wonderful perspective by being with someone who is less like me, We come at things from different angles.’

Keira Knightley also touched on their colliding worlds and what she’s learnt about music from her man, she adds: ‘If I ask “What’s this song about?” he [James Righton] will say, Nothing. It means what it sounds like.” If the soundtrack on a movie isn’t right he can’t watch it.’

Lets hope he enjoys all of Keira’s film soundtracks!

So, what about he future of her love life now she’s engaged? ‘My boyfriend is a musician, so there’s no standing still,’ she reveals. ‘But the thing is about a walkabout is that you can’t tell anyone about it or they’ll come looking. So, it will be like [snaps her fingers], and I’ll be gone.’

She’s certainly a lady of mystery…
