Katy Perry jetted into the Mexican resort of Cancun yesterday to begin promotion of her latest film.
The singer attended a photocall in the sunny city to promote the upcoming 3D animation movie, The Smurfs 2 – a follow up to 2011's Smurfs where Katy reprises her role as the voice of Smurfette.

Dressed in a suitably summery striped dress, the songstress happily posed for pictures at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Completing the holiday-esque vibe, Katy accessorised her look by wearing a printed headband in her dark hair and Dolce & Gabbana's statement drop earrings.
The Smurfs 2 hits cinema screens on 31st July.
