The star joked about her ban from the children's show, after complaints over her revealing attire
Just last week, Katy Perry’s cameo was cut from children’s show Sesame Street, amid claims her low-cut dress was too revealing. Now, the star’s hit back at the ban, donning a racy printed Elmo top for a parody on hit US show, Saturday Night Live.

The California Gurls songstress filmed a spoof for the show, donning a revealing puppet t-shirt to play Maureen, a 16-year-old library volunteer.
Katy was interviewed by Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph during the mock daytime chat show, in which the comedics poked fun at the Sesame Street ban, making several references to her growing chest.
The star then performed California Gurls on the show, after it was revealed as the second biggest single of the year.
