Kate Middleton stepped back into the social limelight last night as she attended the 100 Women In Hedge Funds Gala Dinner in aid of Action on Addiction in London.
Helping to raise money and awareness for people struggling with addiction, a cause close to the Duchess of Cambridge’s heart, she stunned in another gorgeous Jenny Packham gown.
Dipping into the British designer’s Autumn Winter 2013 collection, the ink blue frock was a complete colour contrast to Kate's ivory Alexander McQueen ensemble, worn for Prince George’s christening on Wednesday.
Gliding into the Kensington Palace State Apartments for the bash, the Duchess showed no signs of her busy week as she stole the spotlight once again.
You couldn’t blame Kate putting her feet up after a hectic week of christening planning, but she left baby George sleeping soundly at home to head out for the night. Adorable.
A patron of both the charities involved in the night, Kate really hasn’t wasted any time in returning to her royal duties since giving birth three month ago.

Last night marked Kate's second red carpet appearance since George's birth on 22 July, with Jenny Packham being a firm favourite since she left St Mary’s Hospital in a polka dot dress by the designer.
As if that wasn't enough, she's already been busy planning her next tour of Australia with Prince William, while this month also saw her first solo appearance at the Olympic Park.
It’s good to have you back, Kate!
