Kate Middleton showed off her burgeoning baby bump as she shopped for maternity gear in West London

Kate Middleton has made no secret of the fact that she's a fan of the high street. So it came as no surprise to spot the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge hitting the shops in a Zara cape.

Continuing on her hunt for chic maternity wear, the royal indulged in some retail therapy in West London over the weekend, browsing a local footwear shop.

Putting her morning sickness scare behind her, Kate Middleton looked the picture of health as she visited the shoe store, in a billowing grey checked Zara cape, black leggings and Really Wild Seville suede boots in chocolate.

With her glossy locks pulled back in a ponytail, the smiling Duchess showed off her pregnancy glow, looked in excellent spirits.

Kate's burgeoning baby bump was just visible beneath her clothes.

Just last week, Kate Middleton was spotted scouring the rails in high street store Gap, on the hunt for maternity jeggings.

The Duchess was joined by sister Pippa Middleton for the outing, at swanky London shopping destination King's Road, with onlookers revealing Kate was accompanied by minimum security, and seemed happy to browse.

One onlooker told The Telegraph: ‘Everyone in the store seemed to recognise her, but they gave her space and privacy to shop.’
