The Duchess of Cambridge has taken up a new country pursuit - but what is it?
Kate Middleton spilled the beans on one her favourite hobbies during an official outing last week - and it's not quite what we expected.
Far from hunting out fabulous fashion finds or indulging in beauty treatments, one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite passtimes is growing potatoes.
During her visit to Newcastle, Kate was given a tour of Elswick Park by gardener Emma Hughes.
And as she admired the open space, the Duchess admitted she loves nothing more than gardening herself.
'She [Kate] grows her own potatoes in sacks,' Emma revealed after meeting Kate Middleton.
