Gorgeous mum and daughter duo Jessica Alba and Honor Marie joined Camilla Alves, Bridget Moynahan and First Lady Michelle Obama at event to mark Read Across America Day in Washington yesterday.
Jessica left hubby Cash Warren at home to fly in for the special reading event attended by hundreds of school children, keeping fans updated via Twitter during her trip.
'Just landed in DC with my lil princess. weather is mild -thank goodness,’ she wrote. 'Heading to #readacrossamerica event at Library of Congress in DC. So cool!'
The blooming actress – who is pregnant with her second child - treated children gathered at the event to her favourite Dr Seuss story, The Cat in the Hat, before settling down to listen to other readings with Honor.
Children were also treated to stories from American Education Secretary Arne Duncan, and First Lady Michelle Obama, who embraced spring’s trend for brights in a flowing orange pleated skirt and pink and white printed top.
