Jennifer Lawrence is guaranteed a spot on the Golden Globes stage without even winning, here's how...

Jennifer Lawrence is gearing up to steal the show at the 71st Annual Golden Globes, as she bags an exciting new role at this weekend's ceremony.

Already nominated for Best Supporting Actress thanks to her amazing role in American Hustle, the starlet will also hit the stage to present an award at the swanky bash.

The Hunger Games actress joins Robert Downey Jr, Mila Kunis, Reese Witherspoon, Colin Farrell, Kevin Bacon and Uma Thurman on the list of A-list stars to hand out gongs on the night.

Hoping for a fall-free awards season, Jennifer spoke to Now magazine about returning to the red carpet: 'I make a fool of myself easier than anyone I know. I get so nervous before going down red carpets - particularly after that fall at the Oscars.

'I've tripped at least a couple of other times, too. I managed to forget to thank both the director and producer when I went on stage, so I wondered what was worse?'

‘My mom taught me to laugh at myself. What else can I do?' she also told The Sun. ‘She is there to catch me, in every way. Nothing is ever said like: "Make sure you put one foot in front of the other."

‘I can be quite rude and use some bad language. I am trying to clean up my act. But my mom always taught me that being natural was best.'
