The actor and his fiancée Georgia Moffett welcomed the tiny tot yesterday
Ex-Dr Who star David Tennant has become a father for the very first time, after his fiancée Georgia Moffett gave birth to a baby girl.
It’s thought the proud parents welcomed the tiny addition to the family yesterday, and are reportedly ‘over the moon’ with their new arrival.
Mother and baby are said to be doing well.
A spokesman for the couple has yet to reveal the name the new parents’ chosen name, but friends of the pair say they have decided on Olivia.
‘Georgia and David could not be happier, Olivia is beautiful and their families are over the moon,’ one pal told the Daily Mail.
‘They did very well in keeping everything very nearly private and keeping things under wraps. Georgia was a lot more pregnant than people thought when the news first broke.’
David and Georgia – daughter of eighties Dr Who star Peter Davison – met on the set of the famous series in 2008, when the actress stepped in to play Dr Who’s daughter, Jenny.
But the private pair – who got engaged over Christmas – have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship under wraps.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
