Looks like details of Beyoncé’s new album may have been leaked
OK, we’re already certain that Beyoncé’s upcoming Formation album will be epic, because Beyoncé is a hit-making queen who never disappoints.
And it follows that we are obsessed with everything Beyoncé-related. Usually, we give rumours no importance (we learnt that one in school), but later we learnt that some rules are made to be broken.
The Beyhive has been buzzing with speculation that Beyoncé's new album would drop some time in April and now a self-professed ‘champion bruncher’ from Nashville, @wi11_i_yum, has uncovered a document which looks a lot like a leaked tracklist. Cue MAJOR EXCITEMENT.
However, after recovering from the initial joy of this apparent sneak preview, the April 1st release date has raised the internet’s eyebrows – because 'tis the traditional day of trickery, after all.
Potentially, the fact that Adele, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Frank Ocean feature on Formation will just turn out to be a really galling April Fools joke. But on the other hand, it might be real and we’re allowing ourselves to be very happy about that prospect.
The speculation does not end here though,oh no, a guy called Anthony from Manchester, @ant_917, has another compelling theory about when Beyoncé’s new album will drop. He’s predicting a release date of April 4th 2016. It’s all to do with the significance of the number four in Beyoncé’s life, and the evidence he’s collated is persuasive…
Not convinced? Well, Anthony didn’t even mention the fact that after their wedding Bey and J got matching tattoos on their ring fingers of the Roman numeral four: IV. Plus, their daughter’s middle name, Ivy, seems to be a phonetic reference to the Roman numeral. And celebs are really in to numerology, right?
