Despite being at one of the most glamourous events of the year Gwyneth Paltrow admits she didn’t enjoy herself
Gwyneth Paltrow is a veteran at attending the most exclusive of celebrity events, so when she criticises a party it comes with expert authority. Which means organisers of this year’s Met Ball that took place on Monday evening must be wincing in pain as the actress admits she didn’t enjoy herself.

While speaking to USA Today about one of the biggest nights in the showbiz calendar Gwyneth Paltrow said: ‘I'm never going again. It was so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all.’
The red carpet was awash with every A-lister imaginable from Beyoncé to Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence to Cara Delevingne but not even meeting up with the rest of Hollywood royalty was enough to convince Gwyneth she was having fun.

The theme of the New York event was Punk: Chaos to Couture but Gwyneth Paltrow opted out of following this idea and instead choose a hot pink long-sleeved dress by Valentino. Her full-length frock may have been the reason why she felt so hot, although she defended her outfit by saying it was punk simply because she didn’t adhere to the punk dress code.
Ah, we hope she has fun at her next red carpet event instead.
