New footage for Fifty Shades of Grey movie sees Alex Pettyfer in the role of Christian Grey

Fifty Shades of Grey movie fans are in for a treat, Alex Pettyfer has reportedly starred as Christian Grey in sex scenes for the screen adaptation of the hit novels. According to The Wrap, the movie’s director, Gus Van Sant enlisted the British actor for a test shoot although he’s not been ruled out of the running for the coveted role.

While Hollywood continues to stay tight lipped on who is up for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie roles, rumours will no doubt now circulate around Alex Pettyfer. The new sex scenes featuring the Magic Mike star were shot especially for the movie’s producers when Gus Van Sant was pitching to direct the hotly-anticipated flick.

The Wrap report the Oscar-winning director was not officially asked to produce a test shoot for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie but did so anyway, although Universal are yet to comment on any director or actor’s involvement in the project.
