Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe are reportedly returning to the genre that made them household names
Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe haven’t forgotten their fantasy film roots as the pair reportedly land roles playing fairytale characters. This time though their wands are down and magic plays a more minor role as Emma is rumoured to be in talks to star as Cinderella on the big screen.
According to Variety, a new Disney version of Cinderella is in the pre-production stages and the former Harry Potter star is the hot favourite to take the lead.
Kenneth Branagh is thought to be taking on the directing honours while the ethereal Cate Blanchett is rumoured to have signed up for the role of the wicked stepmother.
While Emma muses over her latest reported part, her former co-star Daniel Radcliffe is also thought to be returning to the fairytale genre. The Hollywood Reporter claim the actor is close to confirming a part in the Frankenstein remake.
This time, Daniel will swap his wizard’s robe for a white coat as it’s thought he’ll take on the part of lab assistant, Igor in the upcoming film.
