Gossip Girl season five is well on the way and rumour has it there’s going to be a new girl in town – none other than Brit actress Elizabeth Hurley.
According to producers, the brunette beauty had landed a part in the new show, and is set to stir things up on the Upper East Side.

It’s thought lovely Liz will play media mogul Diana Payne in a new multi-episode storyline, set to hit screens soon.
According to executive producers producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran, the 46-year old has landed a cameo as a ‘sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with.’ Eeek!
‘Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters - including, and especially Gossip Girl herself,’ they hinted.
‘Elizabeth’s sense of humor, intelligence and beauty fit the GG world perfectly. We feel very fortunate to have her.’
Liz is just the latest in a long line of famous faces to land a special spot on the show. Hilary Duff, Tyra Banks and super-stylist Rachel Zoe have all stepped into the Gossip Girl limelight in the past.
