David Beckham gets around a bit. Not content with being a worldwide sporting star with Hollywood pals to boot, Mr B has revealed he now counts royals Prince William and Prince Harry among his friends.

Speaking of his 'normal relationship' with the royals, Beckham said despite being second and third in line to the throne, Prince William and Prince Harry are very laid back.

‘It’s a very normal relationship, with Harry as well,' Beckham told Esquire magazine.

'They’re very easy to get along with. They love their sport. William loves Aston Villa, unfortunately, which obviously I give him a bit of stick about.’

Very brave!

It's thought David Beckham first became close to the princes as they campaigned for London to hold the World Cup back in 2012.

Since then, the footballer has been spotted mingling with the royals at a host of charity events, and even attended Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding with wife Victoria Beckham last year.

Earlier this week David was spied watching a game of Olympic football with BFF Prince William, and eldest son Brooklyn, after carrying the Olympic torch up the Thames during Danny Boyle's epic opening ceremony.
