The rumour mill has swung into overdrive, after the A-list pair were spied enjoying a ‘romantic’ rendezvous at a trendy New York eatery yesterday evening.

It’s thought Brad and Jen dined at swanky restaurant Per Se near the city’s Columbus Circle during their secret night out.

Onlookers said the couple sat alone at the upscale city restaurant – where a tasting menu can set you back a whopping $295.

And according to gossip website TMZ, the dinner was ‘romantic’.

But many have already shot down rumours the famous pair are an item, with one insider telling American magazine People the outing was strictly business.

Instead, the source revealed the the pair are ‘in discussions regarding a project.’

J-Lo has been hard at work since splitting with hubby Marc Anthony back in July, while handsome Mr Cooper was recently linked to Olivia Wilde.
