Cheryl Cole slammed fashion designer, Julien Macdonald this week and he’s now responded to her claims
Cheryl Cole isn’t immune to a celebrity feud or two, and her latest showbiz spat was revealed earlier this week when she slammed Julien Macdonald for allegedly insulting her. But now the fashion designer has had his say, and is ‘shocked’ by the singer’s claims.
In and interview with The Sunday Times Style magazine Cheryl spoke of a dispute between the pair at Sarah Harding’s Halloween party in 2010, claiming Julien called her a ‘chav’ and her new red hair looked ‘terrible.’
Cheryl told the publication: ‘You have no idea how he ranted and raved. It was at a time when I was really fragile and vulnerable. I was, like, you have no idea what I’m going through.
‘I will never have a working relationship with that man again.’
When asked about Cheryl’s comments Julien told The Telegraph, ‘I was shocked to hear it.
‘It was so long ago and, even then, it was nothing.’
The end of their friendship is a sour note on what was a formidable fashion relationship. Julien designed Cheryl’s iconic Fight For This Love military outfit and a host of stunning looks when she was on the X Factor.
We hope they can kiss and make up soon!
