Cara Delevingne has shared a series of fun snaps from her 21st birthday on Monday, and the model of the moment is barely recognisable in her hilarious fancy dress.

Wearing a pair of patriotic American flag-print leggings with a hooded sequinned Cazza Cape, Cara posed with all of her closest friends and her sister Poppy. This looks like one heck of a circus-themed party.

The 21-year-old model celebrated her big day on Monday, but has only got round to sharing snaps from her amazing bash today on her Instagram page. She posted the first image of her pals with the caption: ‘Thank you to all my friends for all their love and support and for making my birthday so special, I would be nothing without you! #crossdressing #sparkles #camo #itsbeenemotional.’

She also posted an image of a huge hotel bed with ‘Happy Birthday Cara’ spelled out in leaves, a huge pile of colourful wrapped presents and one adorable snap of herself blowing out the candles on her enormous frosted cake, complete with a traditional party hat.

The pictures come just hours after it was reported that the model is allegedly being sent to a villa in Mustique for a well-deserved detox break. While she was expected to party in Ibiza next week, it’s been claimed by The Mirror that Cara’s agency Storm is advising she relax and recuperate instead of partying hard on the white isle.

Let’s hope they don’t check her Instagram page…
