How bad-ass do Brad and Angelina look at the End Sexual Violence in Conflict summit in London?
Brad Pitt made an unexpected appearance at the The Global Summit To End Sexual Violence summit in London today, in support of the important event, co-chaired by Foreign Secretary, William Hague and Angelina Jolie, who looked particularly striking in Saint Laurent.
The trio looked like a force to be reckoned with as they strode through the doors of London’s ExCeL Centre, where the summit, which has seen a whole programme of free public events going on throughout the week, is taking place until June 13.
The three of them are on a mission to end rape in conflict. With such an incomprehensibly huge task at hand, this trio is busy informing the world of what keeps getting overlooked in times of war.
‘My plea to you today, is to see both the individuals who have suffered, and the bigger picture,’ Angelina said.
‘To think what we would each be prepared to do, as individuals, to prevent those we love from suffering - and apply that protective instinct to the world’s most vulnerable people.
And to remember, looking at the sweep of history, that we do have the power to eradicate injustice, with political will and determination.
These crimes of sexual violence are bigger than any one conflict or national interest.’
