Beyonce struck a pose for a series of new shots - and then posted the results on tumblr!

Beyonce may be hard at work preparing for her Mrs Carter world tour, but the multi-tasking songstress still found time to go back to her roots, for a fierce new photo shoot.

Bey stood for a series of sultry shots at home in New York, and then posted the results to Tumbr.

While we're used to seeing the superstar looking a little more polished of late, she embraced her inner grunge for the occasion, dressed in leather leggings, a padded black gilt and a matching baseball cap.

Striking a pose against an industrial background, Beyonce oozes attitude in the snaps, which show her skulking around, and obscured by smoke.

Scary!

Earlier this week, Beyonce showed off her new, platinum blonde 'do, in a Pepsi-themed poster for her Mrs Carter world tour.

Dressed in teeny blue hotpants and a white polo neck jumper, with a bold red lip and whipping white-blonde hair, Bey looks incredible.

We can't WAIT to see her on stage.
