Beyoncé has taken to social networking site Tumblr like a duck to water, updating her I Am Beyonce page with intimate snaps from her life on a regular basis, and the singer's latest pictures show off her new style in a variety of settings.

The singer has given fans a glimpse into various facets of her personal life on her Tumblr account, posting pictures of her 31st birthday celebrations in the South of France, shots of herself hugging and kissing daughter Blue Ivy and photos where she's sporting pro-Obama T-shirts and earrings in the lead-up to the Presidential election last month.

The diva's most recent pics showcase Beyoncé looking utterly gorgeous - and totally Sasha Fierce - as she poses in a personal fashion shoot featuring her edgy new style.

In a series of snaps taken in a lift, Bey poses in skintight leather trousers, a patterned top with appliquéd letter patches on it, nude stilettos, a chunky chain necklace and numerous statement rings, while two other snaps show the singer in a fitted floral-printed yellow and black dress as she stands next to an old-school candy machine and plays a game of pinball in the glam ensemble.

Soon there will be a lot more Beyoncé to enjoy: the singer revealed last week that she'll be directing an intimate, tell-all documentary airing on US network HBO on 16 February. In a teaser for the film, which will mix home videos with footage of the diva onstage, Bey says:

'I always battle with, "How much do I reveal about myself?" If I'm scared, be scared, allow it. Release it.'
