The final five nominations for the 2012 Orange BAFTA Rising Star Award have been announced.
A panel of 13 people, which included Sienna Miller and Simon Pegg, initially came up with a shortlist of eight rising stars, which were: Felicity Jones, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris O'Dowd Adam Deacon, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne.
The public were then given the chance to narrow the selection down to the final five, which were announced at BAFTA HQ this morning.
The final five are: Adam Deacon, Chris Hemsworth, Chris O’Dowd, Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston.
Adam Deacon is best known for his roles in Kidulthood, Adulthood and most recently Anuvahood. The gorgeous Chris Hemsworth shot to fame in Thor and this year is set to entertain us alongside Kristen Stewart in Snow White And The Hunstman.

Chris O'Dowd began his career in hit comedy show The IT Crowd but hit the big time with his brilliant performances in The Boat That Rocked and Bridesmaids.
Big things are expected from Eddie Redmayne, who wowed us in My Week With Marilyn and will continue to impress in the upcoming BBC adaptation of Sebastian Faulks' Birdsong and the film version of Les Miserables.
Finally, Tom Hiddleston has received his nomination for his roles in Midnight In Paris, Steven Spielberg’s War Horse, and The Deep Blue Sea.
The BAFTA Awards 2012 will be held in London on 12 February.
