Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer 'overjoyed' to welcome baby twins

The True Blood stars are celebrating two new additions to their family with the actress giving birth a few weeks early

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have decided to stay schtum over the names and sex of their new baby twins and they don't want to share the actual birth date either!

Although the acting duo have reavled the Oscar winner went into labour early.

A spokesperson for the couple told People magazine: ‘We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world.

‘The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed.'

The twins will expand the couple’s existing brood of Lilac, 10 and Billy 12, Stephen’s children from a previous relationship.

It now seems that the fairytale romance is complete after the pair met after being cast as Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton in True Blood.

They announced their engagement in 2009 and married a year later in a romantic Malibu ceremony before confirming the actress' pregnancy in April.

Their co-star, Michael McMillian, who plays Steve Newlin in the HBO drama recently praised the pair telling Us magazine:

‘Stephen is already a terrific father and they make an amazing couple. Anna is really excited, as any expectant mom is. I think they're going to be pretty cool parents.'
