Brad describes himself as an 'old man' after having to walk with a stick
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie attended a premiere for Ange’s directorial debut film, In The Land Of Blood And Honey, last night.
Hollywood’s hottest couple were back on the red carpet for a screening of Angelina Jolie’s film, In The Land Of Blood And Honey, at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC.
With the awards season about to kick off, the couple have been flashing their pearly whites at a host of prestigious industry events of late.
Over the weekend they appeared at the Palm Springs Film Festival – where Brad was awarded the Desert Palm Achievement Award – and on Monday night they hit the red carpet once again for the Critics’ Circle Awards in New York.
During their red carpet parade, Brad Pitt set tongues wagging by stepping out with a cane after tearing a ligament while carrying his three-year-old daughter Vivienne.
Speaking about the fall, Brad Pitt told People.com: ‘It wasn’t life or death. It was just an old man tripping. It’s not too bad.’
The Moneyball actor – who is also dad to Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and Vivienne’s twin brother Knox – previously said he sustained the injury in order to protect his daughter.
Brad said: ‘I was carrying my daughter, Vivienne, down the hill and I slipped. It was either her or me.’
