Fair play, really

Fair play, really

Now, if you had access to Blake Lively, you probably would be tempted to ask her a whole host of probing questions or comments like how Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are the cutest celebrity couple ever - but there's a time and a place, right!?

This weekend, the Gossip Girl actress and mother of two attended Variety's New York Power of Women event and Blake was there to talk about the world's necessary fight against child pornography.

And when a reporter on the red carpet decided to ask her about what she was wearing, Blake very eloquently replied with: 'Really? At this event, you're asking me about my outfit? Seriously...Would you ask a man that? I'm here so we become more aware, and that we change, and that we build a women up. So, you can ask me another question,' according to a USA Today journalist.

We get it, Blake Lively's style evolution has been on point but bravo to Blake for owning this situation by bringing the focus back on what really matters, alongside other present-day feminist icons like Jessica Chastain and Chelsea Clinton.
