Before a rundown of all the pretty things that have had the team excited this week, let’s touch on awards. No no, not the BAFTAs or Oscars (though we’re obviously ridiculously excited about them – the beauty team love a good session of dress-watch as much as the next person), but instead the Johnson & Johnson Beauty Awards, where the Marie Claire beauty team scooped three awards among us. Result.

THE SCENT: Diana Vreeland Smashingly Brilliant
What? Inspired by the legendary Diana Vreeland’s love of Capri, this citrus eau de parfum is perfectly balanced with basil and juniper berries. The beauty desk think it smells like summer and we’ve been spraying it approximately three times an hour to buck us up when we start to flag.

THE OLDIE BUT GOODIE: La Prairie Perfection a Porter
What? A little compact containing a lip balm and eye cream/gel, we apply this when our skin feels dry or crow’s feet look pronounced. Two members of the team love it so much that it has a permanent spot at their desks.

THE NICHE RELEASE: Erborian Dongbaek Camellia Essence
What? Containing 73% camellia oil, this is a deeply nourishing oil that smells heavenly (though is unlikely to irritate sensitive skin). It’s also got flaxseed, coconut, argan and grapeseed oil in the mix, so will really help to rehydrated parched complexions.
