The Christmas season is nearly upon us, and it's officially time to start getting your home into the festive spirit.

'It’s my first Christmas as a homeowner and it’s really exciting to think I can do anything I like with the house,' Jess told us when discussing her favourite pieces from Dunelm's Christmas collections. 'The living room will be my main focus for festive decorations but I would like to try to add extra cosy touches around the house with faux-fur rugs, a thicker throw on the beds and cosy blankets in the living room.'

At the end we would put chocolate decorations on the tree, which was always the best bit!'
