Graphic prints meet vibrant reds in this gorgeous new interior trend...

Love the industrial look but don’t want to be a slave to grey? Well say hello to Sainsbury’s stylish new Restoration collection. It’s full of restrained monochromes but there are also deep reds for a vibrant colour contrast.

Designed with modern living in mind, this new range draws inspiration from inner-city aesthetics. Think exposed brick, stripped floorboards and edgy urban features with a nod to hipster cool.

Monochromes and reclaimed textures benefit from a pop of eye-catching colour, such as cushions in bright, pillarbox red. And quirky fun extras, like a cute dog lamp, are perfect for lifting a room.

When asked to describe the new season collection, Sainsbury's home accessories buyer Anna Cross manages to capture Restoration’s utility chic in just three words: ‘exciting, vibrant and playful’.

‘This collection has lots of graphic prints to liven up a room for summer,’ says Anna, when describing how to work pieces from the range into your home. ‘Create texture with the checked cushions and throws, as well as a fun focal point for any room with the bulldog accessories.’

Needless to say, we weren't surprised by Anna’s top picks from the collection:

    BULLDOG LAMP

‘The Restoration Bulldog Lamp for £28 is a must-have for the season!’ she reveals, and we agree. This sassy little fellow will add interest to any surface, while staying true to the trend’s pared-back look. Sit him on top of a salvaged chest or vintage dresser for ultimate talking-point exposure.

This Grey Waffle Cushion, £10, will look fabulous on a distressed leather couch or armchair. Take Anna’s advice and team it with other checked textiles featuring splashes of red to add drama.

This Stained Glass Tealight Holder, £3, from the Restoration collection is minimalist perfection. And because it’s so reasonably priced, we recommend you take a few – after all, we don’t expect they’ll be around for long.
