With award season officially underway thanks to the Golden Globes 2016 a couple of weeks ago, this weekend it was the turn on the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2016.
Last night saw the SAG Awards - as they are known in the biz - took place in Los Angeles with the great and the good of Hollywood stepping out to celebrate the best of the arts in TV and film.
British actress Emilia Clarke wowed in yet another incredible gown, opting for a daring hot pink Dior Haute Couture number. While former Mad Men star January Jones rocked a dramatic and diaphanous frock in a beautiful sea foam hue. Nominee Saoirse Ronan, meanwhile, kept it simple in a blush pink column gown by Michael Kors Collection.
Whilst there was a lot of colour on the red carpet in the form of jewel-toned gowns and pastel pinks, muted, darker palettes also reigned supreme with Kate Winslet opting for a mossy green Armani gown and Rachel McAdams stepping out in a beautfully intricate Elie Saab Couture creation. While Sofia Vergara broke all the rules, opting for a hot pink frock.
