Meghan Markle's basket bag sold out in minutes (but these ones are available)

Yesterday afternoon, Meghan Markle was the epitome of chic as she cheered on her husband Prince Harry while he played in the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup.

For the occasion, she chose to wear a denim Carolina Herrera dress, which featured a belt and flared skirt.

As for her accessories, she opted for some nude pumps a la Kate Middleton, and finished her look with a rattan clutch bag by J.Crew.

As with most things Meghan wears, it unsurprisingly sold out in record time, especially as said clutch was in the sale for just over £40.

Sad news, I know, but fret not, I've found a few styles that will satisfy all your summer evening bag needs.

Shop now: Vacances Straw Clutch for £55 from Whistles

Shop now: KAYU Woven Straw Clutch for £198 from Moda Operandi

Shop now: AVILA CLUTCH for &pound96.50 from REVOLVE

You can wear it like Meghan with a chic summer dress and wedges, or pair it down with shorts, a crop top and trainers.

The search for the perfect summer clutch bag is officially over.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
