Forget everything you think you know about Crocs, because they’re much more versatile and wearable than you’d think, and I should know, I wrote a whole article about how classic lined Crocs made their way into my wardrobe.

So trust me when I tell you you're going to have to get a pair, and what better timing than the Amazon Prime Day sale for some serious Crocs discounts - we're talking 25% off key Croc styles (and if you want some serious UGG deals we've got you covered, too).

DEAL IN FULL:

Crocs Crocband Ombreblock Clog - was £44.99, now £29.10

The main discount you can get during the Amazon Prime Day event right now is 25% off most classic Crocs styles, though this may well increase in the coming days, so we will keep you posted. Reduced styles include Crocs clogs, Crocs Croslite and Classic Clogs in a variety of colours and prints.

What you need to know about Crocs is that while some of them are gender specific, a lot of them are unisex, so they're super easy to shop, just pick your size in any style. For fashion-forward shoppers, we recommend the new lined lilac style (this colour was everywhere at fashion week), or bold prints such as camouflage or floral.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
