The latest Game of Thrones trailer was actually made to trick us all

Unbelievable.

Unbelievable.

Game of Thrones season 8 is almost upon us. The last series left us with a lot of questions - namely whether we're going to be welcoming a Targaryen baby sometime soon - and we need to know how things are going to wrap up in Westeros.

Earlier this week, Kit Harington admitted that he hasn't even told his wife and former co-star, Rose Leslie, about how the show ends.

However, not all the actors are as tight-lipped. Sophie Turner revealed that she's been telling everyone about the Game of Thrones ending. In an interview with W, Sophie said: 'I’m so bad at keeping secrets. I don’t think people tell me things anymore because they know that I can’t keep them. I’ve already told the ending of Game of Thrones to a few people.

'I was like, "Hey, if you want to know, I’ll tell you." But it’s people that I know, not random people. It’s people that I know will keep the secret.'

And that's not the only thing that the actress has let slip. An interview with Sophie talking about the latest promo trailer has resurfaced - and now the whole thing looks like a big bit of trickery.

The most recent trailer sees Jon, Arya and Sansa walking through the Stark crypts together before an icy feather lands and the whole place starts getting chilly. But, it seems, that will not be happening in the upcoming series.

In October, Sophie spoke at New York Comic Con - and her chat has been found by fan site Winter Is Coming.

'We did this promo for season eight where—I don’t know if I can say this, actually. Well, actually, no,' Sophie said.

'It’s got nothing to do with the series; it’s just a promo. It was this big kind of statue of me, of Sansa, and I wanted to have it in the garden of my new house. But they obviously wouldn’t ship it from Belfast to New York, so…'

So it turns out that the three characters aren't going to get trapped in the crypts by the Night King. Phew.
