We love seeing who celebrities bring as dates on the red carpet. And Angelina Jolie has the perfect dates: her two oldest daughters, Zahara, 12, and Shiloh, 11.
After a breakup, it can be pretty hard to find the right person to go with you to events. Celebrities, like us civilians, face this problem too, only on a dramatically larger scale. Some opt to walk the red carpet solo. Others have a strong support system to stand beside them at events. In the wake of her divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has had the best backup. Her six children (who came with her to the Toronto Film Festival last month).
And at the premiere of The Breadwinner this weekend, the actress brought along two of her kids for a one pretty special evening.
The Breadwinner is a new animated movie about a young girl growing up in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. Angelina Jolie appears as producer on the highly touted film. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Zahara Jolie-Pitt escorted their famous mother to the premiere, and it looks like all of them had a total blast.
Despite the serious subject matter, the family was all smiles as they posed for pictures. Jolie looked understated in a simple white dress, whilst Shiloh and Zahara complemented their mother with a pair of cool, black outfits.
It’s great to see the family sticking together through thick and thin — and being able to step out and have fun at the same time.
