Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt announced their split in September, with Angelina filing for divorce after 11 years together.
The couple released a joint statement at the time asking for the privacy of their children and stating that ‘the parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification’. However, things quickly escalated into a bitter feud between the parents, especially when the actress’ legal documents were leaked to the public, revealing some pretty scathing things that she had said about her estranged husband.
But just this week reports emerged that the divorce is off, with a source supposedly telling Us Weekly that the couple are heading towards a reunion.
‘They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to,’ explained the source. ‘Everyone thinks they are going to get back together. It wouldn’t be surprising if they announced that they’re calling it off and trying to work things out.’
Both Angelina and Brad have spoken openly about the split, with the 53-year-old actor calling it a ‘huge generator for change.’
‘I was boozing too much,’ he admitted. ‘Truthfully, I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good.’

‘And it’s hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven’t been great at it.’
According to Us Weekly’s source, Angelina has been impressed by the change and his commitment.
‘He got sober to try and win her back,’ explained the source. ‘He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of. And that’s all she ever wanted.’
