Wait, what?

The Cambridges are one of the most talked-about families in the world, but while the Duke and Duchess spend the most time in front of the cameras, it’s their children that really steal the limelight.

From Princess Charlotte’s signature sass and Prince George’s cheeky grin to their royal waves, these toddlers never fail to make news. And judging by Prince Louis’ first royal appearance at Trooping the Colour, he seems to take after his siblings.

This week however it was actually Prince George’s teacher who made news, with the Thomas’s Battersea employee announced to be marrying one of Prince William’s best friends.

Yes, really.

According to The Sunday Times, Thomas van Straubenzee is set to wed the school’s assistant head teacher Lucy Lanigan-O'Keefe, with reporter Roya Nikkhah announcing that ‘nobody would be surprised if Prince William or his wife, Kate, were involved’ in setting the couple up.

There are no details about the upcoming wedding as of yet, but Prince William is expected to play the role of usher and given the fact that Thomas van Straubenzee is Princess Charlotte’s Godfather, we imagine she’s got the role of bridesmaid in the bag. Fingers crossed Prince George and Prince Louis can snag a role too.

Congratulations to Thomas and Lucy!
