Over the past few months, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have suffered an endless stream of online bullying, mostly involving the rumoured feud between the Duchesses.

The two women were rumoured to have fallen out for several reasons, with the most reported being Meghan allegedly ‘making Kate cry’ during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting, her decision to relocate to Frogmore Cottage instead of becoming Kate and Wills’ neighbours, and reportedly Meghan’s treatment of her staff.

The speculation grew so loud that Kensington Palace was forced to step in to shut down the rumours and the royal family even issued a set of social media guidelines to end the online abuse.

Since it was reported that the highly publicised feud was actually nothing to do with the Duchesses but instead their husbands, Princes William and Harry, Kate and Meghan have seemingly been doing everything they can to iron out any tensions.

This was evident over the weekend, when the two Duchesses attended the women’s Wimbledon final together on Saturday, with Kate’s sister Pippa.

Laughing and whispering, the two Duchesses seemed closer than ever, with even body language experts reporting that the bond looked genuine.

‘Sitting Meghan in between Kate and Pippa looks like a very active attempt to both host her and include her in a way that hasn't quite occurred since she married Harry,’ body language expert Judi James explained to The Sun.

‘While Meghan sits with her torso facing front Kate leans in to engage her in conversation, using some illustrative gestures and then even a hand to her hair just behind the ear which is a partial cut-off ritual that implies confiding during a friendly chat.’

She continued: ‘There is a lot of eye contact between the sisters-in-law here too, which, along with the laughter, should be seen as a sign they want to be seen as friendly together. At times they, and Pippa, looked like three sisters sitting together. There were long bouts of mirrored body language between them and lots of eye contact.’

And going on to speak about Meghan, Judi continued: ‘There are echoes of the Queen’s trait of stoic but emphatic body language rituals to nail any negative rumours about her family from Kate.’

Well, that’s a relief.
