Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are officially back together and it's Instagram official

And all is right in the world.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik broke the hearts of Zigi fans across the world back in March, confirming their break up after two and a half years of dating.

Despite the high profile split, both Gigi and Zayn insisted that they had nothing but love and respect for each other - something they proved as the couple were spotted together on several occasions since the break up, even photographed kissing in New York.

Unsurprisingly, their PDA caused a stir and prompted a lot of rumours.

Is Zigi back on? Well, yes actually.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik just confirmed that they were back together - and being millennials they broke the news by making their relationship Instagram official.

Gigi posted a loved up photo of the couple on her Instagram stories, where Zayn can be seen kissing her on the cheek.

That’s enough to convince the internet.

It seems pretty fitting that the couple announced their reunion on social media, seeing as that’s how they broke the news of their split back in March.

‘Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend,’ Zayn posted to his fans at the time. ‘She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all.’

‘Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years – not only in the relationship, but in life in general,’ Gigi posted to her own Twitter account.

‘I’m forever grateful for the love, time and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever’s meant to be will always be.’

Neither Gigi or Zayn are yet to comment on their reunion, but we’re all hoping for a red carpet couple appearance soon.
