And we don't know how we feel about it...

Chris Pratt made headlines this week, as he announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger, popping the question after just seven months of dating.

‘Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!’ The actor posted to his Instagram alongside a photo where Katherine is showing off her new sparkler of a rock. ‘I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!’

Following the speedy engagement, fans were quick to think of Anna Faris, his ex wife of eight years, who he split from in 2017.

Both Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have spoken publicly about the pains of divorce, but the Just Friends actress proved how much she had moved on this week, immediately posting a supportive comment on Chris’ engagement announcement.

‘I’m so happy for you both!!’ Anna commented on the snap. ‘Congratulations!’

She didn’t stop there however, even offering to officiate their wedding.

Yes, really. Addressing the engagement on her podcast, Unqualified, Anna recalled the moment Chris told her that he and Katherine were engaged.

‘Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, “I proposed to Katherine last night”’ she explained. ‘I was like “Ah! That’s amazing”. And I texted him back, “Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister”.’

Going on to speak about the engagement, Anna stated: ‘I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other.’

Forever bowing down to you, Anna Faris.
