Why would you need any other dress in your life?

The Duchess of Cambridge attended a garden party in Berlin with Prince William last night, and wore a maxi dress that was pure perfection.

It was off-the-shoulder flowing chiffon number, which is a slight departure for Kate, and featured a pretty ruffled hem and neckline.

The dress was part of Alexander McQueen’s SS17 collection, inspired by the landscapes and folkloric history of the Shetland Islands, and was just the perfect choice for an elegant but laid back summer party.

Kate teamed it with understated Prada sandals and wore no jewellery apart from her engagement ring.

Now the dress is sadly sold out on Net-A-Porter, however you can sign up for an alert when it comes back in stock, so it’s worth doing if you want to get your hands on it.

It's safe to say the Duchess has been killing it with her Royal tour wardrobe so far, having worn a dress as an homage to Poland, and co-ordinated outfits with Princess Charlotte as a nod to the Polish flag.

Having been to Warsaw and Berlin already, the Duchess, Prince William, Princess Charlotte and Prince George are now expected to travel to Heidelberg and Hamburg to continue their tour of Germany.

We can't wait to see what she wears next.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
