Sadie Frost's new shop raided by moped gang
THE NEW FROSTFRENCH SHOP has become the latest victim of a gang of ram-raiders, who have been targeting designer stores around London. The store has only been open for a couple of weeks, and was the first for the fashion label owned and designed by Sadie Frost and Jemima French.
The thieves arrived on mopeds in the early hours of Wednesday morning, and smashed in, taking more than £10,000 of clothing. Two other stores in the Camden Passage road in Islington were also hit. This followed the same pattern on similar raids recently at other designer label stores including Luella Bartley, Marc Jacobs and the Brora cashmere shop.
Speaking to The Independent, assistant shop manager Leigh Anne Radbourne commented, ‘Sadie and Jemima are upset, but will not let it get them down. They have good business heads on them and know it is not the end of the world.’
