Eddie's Wimbledon appearance comes just weeks after he took to the court himself, to play a charity tennis match.
The actor showed off his ball skills during a tournament at Queen's Tennis Club, partnering sporting ace Tim Henman for one of a series of Rally Against Cancer games.
Dressed in tennis whites, Eddie was soon the talk of the television, and was even trending on Twitter.
