Brad Pitt has opened up about Angelina Jolie's double mastectomy, telling reporters that it's 'business as usual', now that his wife-to-be is recovering.

Speaking at the premiere of his new movie World War Z in Australia, the actor said: 'It's onwards and upwards... it's business as usual. But I'm really touched. The whole thing's heroic to my mind.'

Angelina Jolie made her first public appearance since her brave surgery at the world premiere of Brad's zombie apocalypse movie in London. Looking radiant and the perfect picture of health in a floor-length black Saint Laurent dress, Angelina smiled for photographers and indulged in a number of adorable PDAs with her man on the red carpet.

She then attended the Paris and Berlin premieres of the film, before taking some time off while Brad flew to Australia and Seoul to continue his promotional trail.

Brad Pitt couldn't be prouder of his fianceé. He told Entertainment Tonight yesterday: 'How many people are also battling with the same decision and she's [Angelina Jolie] just a great example of that, it doesn't have to be a scary thing. You can take control of it.'

Angelina first shared the news of her preventative double mastectomy last month in an article in the New York Times. It's been reported that she now plans to have her ovaries removed in a bid to further lower her chance of developing cancer.
