Harry Potter fans listen up! The WB Studio Tour is hosting a Christmas dinner at Hogwarts

For everyone who has ever wanted to step into Harry Potter’s shoes and really experience what it’s like at Hogwarts, this is pretty huge.

The Warner Brothers Studio Tour in Leavsden Studios is hosting a one-off Christmas dinner in the Great Hall. Yes, Christmas dinner at Hogwarts.

Alas, before anyone gets too excited – the event has already sold out. According to WB, there were around 200 tickets snapped up within a day of the announcement.

For those lucky few who managed to nab a ticket, on Thursday 3rd December they will be transported to the magical castle for a two-course luxury Christmas feast featuring roast turkey, ham hock and a few glasses of wine.

The Grand Hall itself will be decked out in full yuletide décor, with the actual props they used in Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone including flaming Christmas puddings and cherry-studded hams.

Guests, who do not have to wear robes but do have to be over 18, will each be presented with their own wand (!) before taking a post-dinner tour of the studios where they can enjoy some festive desserts and (of course) lashings of the famous butterbeer. After taking the magical tour, the magical interlopers will finish up the evening with music and dancing which we imagine will look a little something like this:

Tickets cost £230 but sold out within 24 hours of going up on the WB Studio Tour website. We did ask if they were planning to do it again next year but as yet nothing is confirmed.

Anyone got a ticket going spare? We’ll bring our own broomstick!
