Rihanna has been making waves in the news this month, from her bejewelled Bishop’s get-up at the 2018 Met Gala to her £5 million LA mansion being targeted by a burglar.

The Man Down singer has been a talking point this week however because of her comments on the royal wedding, addressing rumours in the most Rihanna way possible.

The royal wedding is set to take place this Saturday, seeing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot in front of hundreds of their friends and family at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

With Meghan being a former Hollywood actress and Prince Harry running in A-list circles, their guestlist shows no limits, and everyone who is anyone has been questioned as to whether they received a royal invite to what is sure to be the party of the year.

Serena Williams said she would see if she could make it with work commitments making it difficult, but Priyanka Chopra, Victoria Beckham and Mel B all seem to have given the green light.

The most recent A-lister to be asked about their royal wedding attendance is Rihanna, and unlike the others, she didn't play coy.

'Why would you think I'm invited?' Rihanna responded after a startled Access reporter questioned her about it on the red carpet.

'I don't know - you met him!' the reporter replied, to which Rihanna shut down with, 'OK, you met me. You think you're coming to my wedding?'

Judging by her comments, it doesn't look like Rihanna is set to come, especially seeing as she seemed to have forgotten that the royal wedding was happening altogether.

'So is that really coming up, like soon or something?' Rihanna asked, to which the interviewer replied, 'It's in a week.'

'Oh shoot,' Rihanna shot back. 'See I need to stay on the internet more.'

Maybe after this reminder, Riri will tune in on Saturday, but it definitely doesn't look like we'll be seeing her in the pews of St George's Chapel.
