Kate joined husband Prince William in Glasgow for the event, and in the absence of the Queen who couldn't come due to her health, the couple greeted leaders from all over the world.

The couple made particular headlines however for a series of hilarious photographs that have since gone viral.
The photos in question show Kate jokily offering William a pot of dead larvae. William’s hilarious reaction to the larvae has unsurprisingly prompted the snaps to go viral.
