Victoria Beckham was first to debut the opulent high-neck gown, to the BAMBI Awards in Germany way back in 2006.
The stylista teamed her standout frock with strappy black sandals, that much-copied 'Pob' (remember the Posh Bob?) hairstyle, and her familiar practiced hand-on-hip pose.
Four years later, and the black-and-gold gown was given it's second high-profile appearance, when Bar Rafaeli donned it to the Roberto Cavalli 40th Anniversary party in Paris.
