And it’s just what you need for the office

Let’s be real, dressing for work in a heatwave is not the easiest task, is it? Sometimes you just want to embrace the off-the-shoulder boho trend, but you just can’t get away with it in every office.

But it looks like Warehouse has solved all our wardrobe woes, thanks to this dress, which is a must-have according to the many influencers of Instagram.

It’s a peplum wrap dress, which comes in two styles, and ticks plenty of trend boxes but is chic enough for work too.

It comes in a white and blue stripe design which has more of a holiday vibe, and works really well with wedges or heeled sandals, as seen on Katherine Ormerod.

Then for a more understated look, it also comes in light pink, which you can team with tan sandals and a pop of red lipstick, a la Laura Fantacci of Wearing It Today.

Now sadly these dresses are not in the sale, however they’re still available to buy in all sizes for £55, so you know, swings and roundabouts.

If your office’s dress code is a bit more laid back though, this yellow number below has had a lot of love on Instagram, and we recommend wearing it with gold heels or yellow flats like Alex from the Frugality.

Oh, and that one’s in the sale….

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
