The sister design duo have left their roles as co-creative directors of label Twenty8Twelve

Sister design duo Sienna and Savannah Miller have stepped down from their roles as co-creative directors of Twenty8Twelve, according to reports this morning.

It’s understood that the pair will leave the fashion label, which they launched in 2007 with the Pepe Group, to pursue other ventures, while the current design team will continue at the company.

The Miller girls told WWD: ‘We’ve had a brilliant six years at Twenty8Twelve and are now looking forward to new pastures. We wish the brand the best of luck for the future.'

As well as a change of direction at the top, the label will now be called Twenty8Twelve London and will drop the ‘by S. Miller’ at the end of the brand name.

The first collection without the Miller sisters at the helm will show during London Fashion Week autumn/winter 2012 in February, under the direction of Vanessa James and Elsa Elphick – two members of the original design team.

But with an acting career and a rumoured baby on the way with boyfriend Tom Sturridge, we’re sure Sienna will have her hands busy.
