It's become the most eagerly-anticipated show of the season thanks to its spectacular production and film set-style catwalk props, with Louis Vuitton poised to unveil its latest collection tomorrow at Paris Fashion Week.

Last season, LV's Creative Director Marc Jacobs gave us a visual treat as an army of Swinging Sixites sirens emerged into the showspace via four sets of escalators before strutting across a sunshine yellow and white checkerboard runway.

Six months earlier, meanwhile, for the autumn/winter 2012 show, the luxury French label wowed us with the romance of an old stream train chugging onto the catwalk in the Cour Carrée of Paris' Louvre Museum before the models disembarked one-by-one in their golden age attire with porters carrying their luggage alongside them.

Go back again for spring/summer 2012, and we had the sugary sweet collection presented with models (including a certain Kate Moss) straddling horses on a beautiful white carousel complete with twinkling fairy lights, ushered in as an antidote to the previous S&M-inspired line (think fetish lace-up boots, sheer flasher macs and heaps of black leather) that was staged with the models enterting the show venue via a retro caged lift in homage to those at London's Claridge's Hotel.

But how do you follow all of this up? After a string of show hits, the pressure is on for Louis Vuitton and Jacobs to better their last attempt, yet again. So what can we expect? Unsurprisingly, the brand's press team is keeping schtum on the theme for tomorrow's show, ensuring the element of surprise when it's unveiled. Will the extraordinary showman present his new collection with yet another dazzling set production? Or will he go the other way, strip things back and use a simple traditional catwalk, that really will shock onlookers? Watch this space.

The Louis Vuitton autumn/winter 2013 show takes place on Wednesday 6th March. Visit the Louis Vuitton website from 10am to watch the live streaming of the show.
